How to find maximum value from Eight Continents?
While Eight Continents hosts over 6 million fare combinations to destinations worldwide, our core strength is for departures from the U.S. to points in Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America and South Africa. Eight Continents offers discounted Business and First class international airfares to our members. For best search results, we suggest that when requesting international airfares you also request travel on carriers that we support discounted fares with.


For travelers originating their journey in Europe, Asia or Australia, Eight Continents connects visitors to negotiated fares from agents and airlines worldwide. Agencies outside of North America interested in partnering with Eight Continents to distribute their international fares should send an introductory e-mail to partnerships@eightcontinents.com


Changes to a ticketed itinerary:
Most international itineraries purchased through Eight Continents can be changed. Changes to the dates of travel without changing the routing, can usually be handled by a change in the reservation without ticket re-issuance (e.g., changing an itinerary for travel between London and New York, already ticketed for travel on Sunday, to travel on Monday.) Certain fares do carry a penalty for changes made, and you should check with Eight Continents regarding any penalties for changes.


Some deeply discounted business and economy class tickets do have significant restrictions including forfeiture of the entire fare paid in the event of ANY changes made to the itinerary, ranging from change of date to complete cancellation.


Delivery:
Eight Continents will utilize electronic ticketing whenever possible and delivery confirmation by e-mail, eliminating the need to send travel documents by overnight courier. When paper tickets are required, Eight Continents sends most orders via FedEx next-day delivery. Because certain itineraries require issuance by off-shore ticketing partners, there may be a few days' delay from the time your order is placed and the time you receive your tickets. 

Your tickets will be sent for same day delivery, using scheduled airlines, to virtually any location in the U.S.  Prices for this service vary based on the destination city, but it offers a creative alternative to being without your ticket at the last minute! For example, ticket confirmations received by 10:00AM Pacific Time could be available for same day pick-up at 5:00PM Eastern Time! This is not the same as a Pre-paid ticket. Your ticket will be sent as a parcel and will be available for pick up at the airline’s baggage claim office. Check with Eight Continents for additional details if you would like to use this service. 

Payment:
Eight Continents accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club and Carte Blanche for payment of travel services. A signed credit card authorization form must accompany all credit card orders for transactions over $1000. This form may be printed at http://www.eightcontinents.com/creditauth.html . The form should be completed and faxed to the number at the bottom of the form.

Payment may also be remitted by cashiers check, money order, or wire transfer. Company and Personal checks may also be remitted but will be held for a minimum of 5 business days for funds clearance before your order will be processed. Checks and Money Order payments should be sent to:

Refunds


Any purchase from Eight Continents that is not completely used and for which a refund is requested should be sent to our offices at:

Refunds will be processed for all tickets received that are refundable, , less an Eight Continents cancellation, penalty which shall not exceed $800, or any other airline imposed penalty or cancellation fee. Over 75% of Eight Continents transactions do not carry an airline imposed cancellation fee. An airline cancellation fee may mean that some or all of your ticket is non-refundable.
